On this tropical fish site you will find information and facts for all tropical fish enthusiasts from beginner to expert. It
has some fantastic tropical fish pictures along with interesting information for all freshwater and marine fish keepers. The tropical fish pages provide information about
some of my favourite fish, along with some incredible tropical fish pictures. I have kept fish for many years now, ranging from community to marine. Over this period I have
been drawn towards catfish and cichlids, which I must confess, through there antics have become my favourites. I now keep various African Rift Lake Cichlids, which include
Malawi cichlids, Tanganyikan cichlids, and a few Victorian cichlids. I keep both Mbuna and Haplachromis
African rift lake varieties and have had great success with breeding
many of these species of cichlid. I also keep American cichlids, which include both North and Central American cichlids, and South American cichlids. I have also had success
with breeding these, but due to the volume of young fish most of them eventually end up as fish food, unfortunately. I also have a great love for catfish and plecs and keep
many varieties of catfish. I have never had any success breeding any of them, although some of my friends have managed to breed both Synodontis Petricols and Synodontis
Multipunctatus. I also keep some community fish because they are less disruptive than the cichlids, and provide a nice
community fish display tank with plants. I also keep Discus
Cichlids which are good because they are very peaceful, appear and disappear, through the plants. The site includes information about a variety of tropical fish,
including facts about fish feeding, aquarium water temperature, aquarium water chemistry, fish growth size, fish scientific names, and loads of other interesting details.
The site also includes some fun stuff like a tropical fish quiz, fish jokes, fish riddles, songs, poems, and quotes. There is also information on fish dealers in a variety
of geos, and some fish recipes for the cooks among you. I hope you enjoy having a look through the site.
